A fast station for charging electric vehicles has been launched on the territory of VTB Arena Park. The installation and launch of the station was provided by the operator of the electric charging infrastructure Sitronics Electro (part of the Sitronics Group). Sitronics announced this on December 15, 2022.

VTB Arena Park is an object that combines football and hockey arenas under one roof, as well as the Arena Plaza shopping center with an underground parking lot. The located charging station will be relevant not only for visitors to sports matches in the arena, but also for drivers of electric vehicles driving along Leningradsky Prospekt or the third transport ring. In the process of charging, drivers have something to do on the territory of the complex.

The installation of the Sitronics Electro charging station in an underground parking lot is another step towards providing the maximum number of services for comfortable guests at the VTB Arena. We were able to solve an important problem that arises among drivers of electric vehicles who often attend the events of the complex, the shopping center, and are also the owners of the apartments of the Arena Park residential complex and residents of nearby areas. Cooperation with Sitronics Electro will allow us to become part of the large-scale charging infrastructure that the company is creating throughout the country, "said Andrey Luntovsky, General Director of VTB Arena LLC.

The 60 kW charging station is equipped with connectors - CCS2, CHAdeMO and Type 2, supports simultaneous charging of two electric vehicles: on slow and fast ports. The fast charging process takes 20-40 minutes, which electric cars can spend in a shopping center. Drivers who go to a match or concert will be able to use slow charging.
