2021: Implementation of the "Atlas" electronic archive

In the offices of VTB-Bank Armenia CJSC, the deployment of the Atlas electronic archive system has been completed. In May 2021, bank employees began to use it in their work. This was announced on August 3, 2021 by Atlas-Soft.

Improving the reliability and efficiency of the bank is the main task that the electronic archive had to solve. Several goals were planned to be achieved:

  • Organize centralized and secure storage of all company documents;
  • establish a single archival accounting;
  • Improve document management, including through shared and remote access
  • Reduce the likelihood of loss of documents, reduce errors in processing large document flows
  • differentiate access to documents according to information security requirements .

The bank's IT specialists have prepared a terms of reference. In it, they detailed the requirements for the electronic archive, including:

  • Ensure sufficient system performance at peak load and with increased size databases
  • The ability to search for documents and other objects both by their attributes and any combinations thereof, as well as by text content;
  • possibility to use freely modifiable classifiers and directories;
  • Storage of documents in different formats without limitation of file type and size ;
  • protection of documents from irretrievable deletion by the user;
  • The ability to import and export documents and entire folders while preserving the data structure
  • Automatic backup of database and document database;
  • logging of all significant user actions

and many others.

The terms of reference also listed the requirements for hardware, for the modernization and diagnosis of the system, for its ergonomics and reliability.

Comparisons of several software products available on the market showed that the Atlas electronic archive meets all the listed requirements, so VTB-Bank Armenia technical specialists chose it.

During the deployment and configuration of the system, Atlas-Soft specialists:

  • installed the archive software on the customer's server;
  • modify and configure the system in accordance with the requirements of the terms of reference;
  • completed key directories and classifiers of the system;
  • Trained system administrators
  • comprehensively tested the operation of the electronic archive and eliminated the identified shortcomings.
  • set up the interaction of the electronic archive with. 1C

It took a month and a half to carry out these works, and it was precisely such deadlines that were provided for by the contract. The transition to centralized storage of documents has increased the efficiency and reliability of VTB-Bank Armenia, which is especially important for the bank's customers. In addition, the Atlas electronic archive ensures the safety and confidentiality of personal data of customers and other information and meets the constantly tightening requirements of information security.
