"VTB of Mobile" implemented additional protection against cyber attacks using services of the Center of cyberstability of ACRC

2020: Connection to the Center of cyberstability of Angara Cyber Resilience Center

On October 23, 2020 Angara Professional Assistance announced that VTB of Mobile was connected on MSS model to the Center of cyberstability of Angara Cyber Resilience Center (ACRC). Connection to service – one more step on gain of protection of clients against cyberthreats, risk minimization for subscribers and the operator in general.

Within cooperation with Angara Professional Assistance of VTB Mobile it was connected to a number of services on cybersecurity. Among them there is a service in protection against difficult threats and the purposeful attacks of ACR Service AntiAPT&EDR based on solutions of Kaspersky Lab (Kaspersky Anti Targeted Attack, Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response) including tools of a comprehensive protection (EDR and protection against APT in mail and web traffic). In addition, the company connected MSS service in protection against DDoS attacks and operation by malefactors of vulnerabilities of the resources published on the Internet (ACR service ANTI.DDOS+WAF). Use of services from a portfolio of MSS services allowed to increase security level.

Providing the high level of information security is the compulsory provision not only in banking sector, but also in the field of communication. The decision on need of connection to the Center of cyberstability of Angara Cyber Resilience Center, use of cloud services allowed in the minimum terms and with good efficiency to provide higher level of security of IT infrastructure.
