Task

For automation of work of sales representatives in the company the system of mobile trade Optimum is used. This system allows to write out documents, to keep sales accounting and marketing efforts using mobile PCs. Information collected by means of mobile computers is consolidated in the single database.

For support of decision making process it was necessary to provide a possibility of the operational analysis of the available data, formations of the analytical reporting, forecasting.

Solution

As the tool of the solution of a problem of data analysis the Deductor platform was selected. The built-in mechanisms of obtaining information from diverse data sources allowed to integrate Deductor with the system of mobile trade Optimum used in the company and to obtain information directly from it in a foreground mode.

The configured semantic layer allowed to address directly the accounting system for data acquisition, using the Master of import of data and operating at the same time with such multidimensional concepts as measurement, the fact, a cut … Deductor independently creates necessary database requests, obtains the necessary information and displays it using OLAP of cubes and other methods of visualization.

The solution based on Deductor in closed joint stock company

Analysts have an opportunity through Deductor Studio independently to configure scenarios of processing, combining any mechanisms of data processing implemented in a system. End users obtain all necessary information, applying the Deductor Viewer application. Similar implementation allows to provide high flexibility of work and to separate work of the expert-analyst from the end user.

As a result of implementation of this project the following tasks were solved:

• Operational data analysis on mobile trade;
• Multidimensional data analysis;
• Analysis of dynamics of sales;
• Formation of the regulated reporting;
• Control of activity of employees and divisions.
• The started system allows to solve the current problems and is the platform for implementation of perspective analytical projects.
