In its statement, Verizon notes that by the end of 2021, customers of the company will be able to exchange photos and videos in high quality, communicate both when connected via Wi-Fi and through the operator's network, receive information about the status of the sent message, connect to group chats. In addition, they will be able to communicate one-on-one with support for end-to-end encryption of correspondence content. In other words, Verizon subscribers will receive "from the box" everything that any modern messenger like WhatsApp or Telegram can offer.
Verizon does not plan to ignore business representatives. The operator plans to provide companies with services that will allow them to interact with subscribers directly.
