Verysell projects constructed new office for Sportmaster Group

The Verysell projects company completed the large-scale project on creation of IT infrastructure of new office Sportmaster Group. Specialists of system integrator equipped with a complex of engineering, telecommunication and information systems of 12 floors of business center, having provided jobs to 2 thousand users.

The Sportmaster group is included into the list of ten largest sports retail networks of the world, numbering 200 sporting goods stores and 250 clothing stores of Casual style. Effectively to manage so large-scale and geographically distributed business, the company needs to provide high-quality and operational interaction of employees of group and fast acceptance of management decisions within constantly changing market conditions. So far the Russian representative office of Sportmaster Group functioned at several offices (branches) located in different districts of the city of Moscow. In December, 2009 the management of group made the decision on consolidation of the Russian divisions in the new modern building of the Pilot administrative business center. Due to the forthcoming relocation of Sportmaster Group creation of the reliable IT base which would provide full functioning of new office and the continuity of business processes of the company was required.

Based on the tender held at the end of the 2009th year, the contractor on deployment of IT infrastructure of new office selected Verysell projects company. Specialists of system integrator offered optimal conditions of cooperation and confirmed existence of necessary examination for implementation of large-scale projects on the equipment of multi-storey office buildings with a complex of engineering, telecommunication and information systems.

The project implemented by Verysell projects started in April, 2010 and consisted of the next stages: design of subsystems of IT infrastructure, supply of equipment, installation and balancing and commissioning. In the course of works specialists of the company equipped 12 floors of business center with the following complex of systems:

• The corporate data network which provided a possibility of sharing of corporate resources and providing information services to users.
• The system of telephony meaning the most full functional range and the high level of telephone service. In addition to creation of the main automatic telephone exchange, specialists of Verysell projects implemented a wireless system, having completely integrated it with a master station.
• The wireless local computer network (WiFi) providing mobility of users in the territory of all office space.
• Structured cabling system in all premises of office.
• Electric power supply system about 2 thousand jobs.
• The system of the uninterrupted guaranteed power supply providing continuous power supply central and the floor switching centers and also a conditioning system of the switching centers.
• The conditioning system supporting the set microclimate parameters (temperature, humidity and purity of air) in central and all floor switching centers.
• The fire safety system including the subsystem of automatic gas fire fighting safe for human health, and a notification subsystem about the fire and managements of evacuation.

All systems are implemented product-based world leading manufacturers, including companies Avaya, Cisco Systems, Daikin, Legrand, Eaton, Powerware, etc. Use of the equipment which is earlier established at former offices of Sportmaster Group that allowed to provide economy of means of the customer became important feature of the project.

Project implementation is carried out to a short time, and today the Russian divisions of the company began work at new comfortable office.
