On June 29, 2015 the NCR corporation announced plans of Victoria Group to implement technology of cash self-service in shops[1].

Project Tasks

The Victoria network pays attention to convenience of process of purchase and modern technologies of retail sales. Implementation of technology of cash self-service reflects need of buyers for similar solutions, consider in the company and refer to results of a research of NPD company according to which 85% of buyers in Russia consider a possibility of cash self-service method to improve consumer experience.

"According to a research of a way of life and preferences of regular customers of Victoria, a quarter from them "are open new" - they consider purchases as continuation of lifestyle, monitor trends, they have big families, they often receive guests. Setting cash desks of self-service, we not only offer buyers additional service, but also we involve them in process of purchase, allowing to control as much as possible it", - Oleg Zhunikov, the director of the Victoria division told.

Project Progress

Cash self-service in Victoria shops is implemented on May 20, 2015, in supermarket near the Domodedovo subway. The technology of cash self-service is suitable for the shop located in the crowded place near the railway station.

The management of Victoria network expects increase in the involvement of buyers and sales volume as a result of implementation of cash self-service. Clients can pay purchases with cash, credit or debit cards. The Cash Recycling function minimizes need of replenishment action of cash and consequently - reduces the operating costs connected with delivery of cash.
