Project prerequisites

MMK Pobeda often conducts cultural events and master classes, for which it is required to produce a large amount of printing products. Previously, the museum ordered printing products from a third-party printing house.

Project objectives

In order to reduce the production time of printed materials and ensure its high quality, comparable to offset, MMK Pobeda decided to purchase modern equipment for medium and low-circulation digital printing.

Project progress

MMK Pobeda considered the proposals of different manufacturers, studied user reviews and, according to the combination of characteristics, chose the full-color Xerox Versant 180 Press CFM with a built-in EFI controller, feeding trays and a finisher.

The museum was attracted by the fact that the Xerox Versant 180 Press supports materials with a density of up to 350 g/m2, including designer paper, plastic and magnets. At the same time, high print resolution 2400x2400 dpi, combined with anti-aliasing technologies, allows you to print images in high detail without losing quality.

Xerox Versant 180 Press allows the institution to quickly produce printing products thanks to the printing speed of 80 pages per minute and automation functions, including the SIQA (Simple Image Quality Adjustment) system.

Project results

Thanks to the installation of Xerox Versant 180 Press MMK Pobeda, it was possible to independently produce a wide range of high-quality products in medium and small print runs in a short time. In addition, the machine allowed the museum to automate key printing processes and reduce the cost of the print. In the near future, the institution plans to expand the functionality of the CFM, equipping it with additional options.

"The installation of the Xerox Versant 180 Press has significantly expanded our ability to organize events. We do not have to expect handouts from suppliers of printing products - we make them for ourselves. The implementation passed without serious difficulties. Our employees quickly learned to work with the CFM thanks to the operator courses that GS Consulting conducted at our museum. "
