Video surveillance in the dealer center Volvo

Svid-Mobil conducts sales and service of cars in two big dealer centers having both representative showrooms, and the service stations equipped with the modern equipment. The company invests heavily in development of infrastructure of the business including in increase in its security. The video surveillance system implementation project in which implementation the Vizzara company participates became one of elements of this infrastructure also.

Development of a video surveillance system of the dealer center located at the address "Energetikov Avenue, 59" happened in several stages. At the first stage internal premises of car repair shop and the showroom were equipped with the cameras Axis. Here the video processing server on the basis of the software package "Intelligence" with the module of recognition of car numbers was installed. It allowed to control far off process of maintenance of cars, to lower the losses connected with action of a human factor, to introduce automatic control of transport with recognition of car numbers.

The organization of control of the territory of the dealer center became the second stage of work. Specialists of Vizzara company mounted surveillance cameras on perimeter of the building located in this territory and connected them on network to the video server which was available on an object. That the customer could select for this purpose the most effective equipment, the Vizzara company gave it for testing different models of cameras, lenses and accessories. Taking into account the St. Petersburg climate of the camera decided to equip with thermocasings.

According to the results of testing and refining of requirements of the customer on an object 18 universal megapixel Smartec STC-IPM3096A IP cameras with the day/night function were installed. They are equipped with thermocasings of STH-1230D-PSU1 which ensure their functioning at a temperature from-55 to +50 °C and also the zoom lens Fujinon.

All cameras are switched on in a local network via the network switch of 3Com. For management of video data on the server it is set to software of processing of IP cameras of the Intelligence system, client jobs with which monitoring of an object is conducted are configured. Equipment cables of cameras and an eyeliner for a power supply of thermocasings are laid in gofrorukav with a total length of 1 km.

According to the results of implementation of the second stage of the project the Svid-Mobil company had an opportunity round the clock to control the surrounding territory in any weather. Thereby it considerably increased safety of the clients and employees and also their property.

Now cooperation of Svid-Mobil and Vizzara companies continues. The third stage of the project on video surveillance implementation is implemented. At this stage it is going to increase the territory controlled by the customer due to installation of additional cameras out of the building of the dealer center.
