On September 3, 2020 Visa started service of payment of purchases by voice through the assistant Alice from "Yandex". The new technology became available at 32 restaurants of Moscow. The payment system implements the project together with service of the order of food and  Bartello drinks.

At the first payment of the order on  the screen of the smartphone the secure page into  which  it will be necessary to enter these cards will open. Then Alice will ask to create a code word  using which in  the subsequent the payment will be confirmed.

Within the first three months from the moment of registration discounts will be available to users if you pay with voice by the Visa card: 10% for all dishes at restaurants, 70% at the first order of certain drinks, 25% at all subsequent orders of some drinks during this time. 

The technology of payment is implemented through the "skill"  (so are called options of Alice) Bartello service developed on the platform " Yandex.dialogs " and available on mobile devices with Alice.

According to Visa which are given in Twitter blog of the company on September 3, 2020, for the last three-year period popularity of voice assistants doubled. Now over 30% of consumers use different services with voice assistants, with their help make purchases of 10% of users, and for 2019 the number of the people using voice solutions on the basis of artificial intelligence for payment of goods and services grew by a quarter.

New service will help clients of Visa to order food and drinks at restaurants much quicker, and to pay them by means of a voice – more conveniently — the Head of Department of the products Visa in Russia Yury Topunov said.

Users of service use only the smartphone and the voice channel, and all orders are automatically transferred to kitchen of restaurant. The visitor does not need to wait for the waiter for the order and payment of account that considerably saves time, explained in Visa.[1]
