At the Viteks Ukraina LLC enterprise the management system implemented by specialists of TQM systems company is successfully put into operation. The project is executed based on "1C: Management of trade enterprise for Ukraine 8". A new system covered 40 jobs and helped to accelerate customer service, to achieve reduction of receivables for 23%, to reduce overstocking of warehouses by 40%.

Vitex Ukraine company - the leader among distributors of tough floor coverings in the Ukrainian market. The company cooperates more than with 300 dealers and represents the products in such large specialized networks as Hut of Lam_natu (38 shops), "Your k_mnata", Epicentre (28 hypermarkets), "The new line", Praktiker and OBI.

With growth in sales of laminate and expansion of dealer network it became vital to increase efficiency of purchase planning and management of trade inventories. Earlier managerial, accounting and inventory control were conducted in separate programs, as a result the management could not obtain complete and reliable information. The goods were ordered from suppliers without stock balance. Managers reserved more, than it is necessary, there was a problem of "excess goods in a warehouse". Or on the contrary – the necessary goods were absent.

To optimize work of a warehouse and to solve problems of purchase planning, the management made the decision on transition to a new, end-to-end system of management and accounting. It had to give an opportunity to sales departments and managements to use booking data for more exact analysis of activity of the company and planning of expenses.

The TQM systems company (Kiev) which at that time already had experience of projects implementation of similar scale and complexity acted as the partner of the project on implementation of such system.

As a basis for a new information system the product "was selected by 1C: Management of trade enterprise for Ukraine 8".

The main objectives which were implemented within the project:

  • One of key tasks of the company - the order of optimal product quantity for replenishment of warehouses is solved. The quantity of illiquid goods decreased by 40%, and optimization of assortment policy allowed to accelerate goods turnover rate twice.
  • Customer service and accomplishment of orders is accelerated. Earlier process of formation of a price to the client took 1-2 days as the range of laminate contains hundreds of names of different characteristics and parameters (a collection, color, the sizes, appointment, etc.). Now a system allows to create a price instantly. Managers and merchandisers have online access to information on stock balance, reserves, goods "in way" and can consider these data when processing orders. Rapid response to requests of clients affected image of the company and its profit positively.
  • A system automatically controls the debt of the client, without allowing the manager to process documents and to reserve goods if the set threshold is exceeded. Thanks to it receivables decreased by 23%.
  • The management obtains all information on activity of the company in several key reports that helps to keep management accounting more effectively.

At the moment a system is used in 40 workplaces, specialists of TQM systems company perform its current maintenance.
