Vitis Group (1C:Enterprise 8. Expansion for pocket computers)

The Business-Arkhitektor company completed the project of automation of Vitis group company. The information system is constructed based on the solutions "1C:Enterprise 8": "1C: Management of trade enterprise for Ukraine" and "Expansion for pocket computers".

Project bases

The company management of Vitis group made the decision on development of new activity - distribution. This step demanded implementation of a modern automated system for enterprise management.

A system should provide:

• work of all services and divisions of the enterprise in a common information space;
• management of financial flows of the company;
• purchase management;
• collecting and transfer of supply requisitions of goods by sales representatives;
• integration with a mobile equipment (PDA).

Solution

The choice of the solution - "1C:Enterprise 8. Management of trade enterprise for Ukraine" as a basis for automation of all enterprise and "1C:Enterprise 8. Expansion for pocket computers". Ability to integrate these products for the purpose of creation of uniform base for automation of work of all enterprise including the sales representatives working far off was key when choosing these products.

Results

The uniform information base of the company which allows firm to develop new activity - distribution is as a result created. High speed and customer service quality is provided that allowed to win loyalty of buyers. The management received the instrument of effective management of business which helps to simplify and accelerate decision making.

During the project necessary tunings of the solution are performed, training of employees is provided, instructions are developed for users. In a project deliverable at the central office of the company are automated:

• Operational accounting of goods;
• Management of finance of the enterprise;
• Inventory control;
• Order of goods;
• Pricing;
• Settlement with partners;
• Accounting and tax accounting;
• Formation of the operational, management and industry reporting;
• Fixed asset accounting and intangible assets;
• Payroll.

The specialized interface was developed for work of sales representatives according to requirements of the management of Vitis group and the functionality of a system which allows the agents who are directly at clients is configured:

• take the order for goods through the CPC, to immediately send the order to the central office,
• to quickly obtain up-to-date data about remaining balance and the changes in price from the central office

to operators at office:

• to quickly/quickly process data of the order.

25 jobs at the central office and 5 PDA of sales representatives are automated.
