The Vodafone India company decided to set complete network solutions of Cisco to unroll the network architecture which is completely based on the IP standards in all territory of India the press service of Cisco reported on July 10, 2013.
Reasons
Scaling options of traditional networks are insufficient for support of high flexibility what modern communication and entertaining services need. For this reason for operators it is necessary to pass to the network infrastructure based on the IP standards.
Objectives
The solutions Cisco will provide to Vodafone company the convergent multiservice platform for service of individual subscribers, corporate customers and mobile users using uniform network infrastructure that will allow to cut down capital and current expenses. Besides, Vodafone will be able to deliver to subscribers new services at higher speeds and to expand possibilities of end users.
Forecasts
According to data of the forecast of Cisco Visual Networking Index (VNI) Forecast (2012-2017), by 2017 in India 2 billion network devices (in their 2012 there were no more than 1 billion) will work. Besides, from 2012 for 2017 the volume of mobile traffic in this country will increase by 60 times.
