Volgotanker group – the transport consolidation, largest in Europe, in the field of transportations of bulk loads. The group integrates 12 companies in Russia and abroad.

Project Tasks

• creation of a system of the consolidated statements on personnel;
• accounting of personnel on all Group "Volgotanker".

Project Steps

The first stage which began in January, 2003, assumed equipment by the software package BOSS-personnel officer of the enterprises of activity "Navigation". Within this stage of the project the following amount of works is executed:

• document flow is brought into accord with requirements and features of structure of Volgotanker Group;
• works on data entry on all staff of the enterprises of activity Navigation are carried out;
• a system in branch of management company Volgotanker AMS LLC in Samara and Management personnel of activity Navigation is put in commercial operation;
• a system is put in trial operation at most the enterprises of activity Navigation;
• setup of an accounting and computing circuit of the BOSS-PERSONNEL OFFICER system among distributed data is made.

By the beginning of navigation of 2004 replication of the accounting and computing circuit of the BOSS-PERSONNEL OFFICER system intended for organizational planning, employee administration and payroll at all enterprises of group was completely complete.

On the following, after replication, a stage forms of the corporate reporting on personnel of Volgotanker Group which are created in the BOSS-PERSONNEL OFFICER system were developed. Further a system was installed in management company, at all enterprises of activity "Shipbuilding and ship repair" and also at most the enterprises of activity Service.

Successful development of the project became possible thanks to direct supervision behind the course of its implementation from the management of Volgotanker Group and also high qualification of staff of IT service Volgotanker AMS LLC who carried out the most part of works on setup and system implementation with own forces. Developers of the software package BOSS-PERSONNEL OFFICER undertook works on setup of a replicaiton engine necessary for implementation of the centralized collection of information from the structures entering into Volgotanker Group. Besides, producers implemented completion of a system under specialized requirements of the customer – the additional functionality received the name "Ship Role".

Project Effect

System implementation provided formation of the single database on personnel for all enterprises of Volgotanker Group, long-term and reliable storage to both information on each employee of Volgotanker Group, and documents of departments of work with personnel (orders, agreements, reports), timely and faultless execution of the reporting in RPF and FTS in the automatic mode.

Implementation of the automated control system for personnel the BOSS-personnel officer allowed to arrange information on personnel of Volgotanker Group, to simplify and accelerate exchange of personnel information between remote divisions. The selected system completely supports the Russian legislation and, actively developing, meets requirements of Department for the HR policy and social development of Volgotanker Group.
