Volleyball club "Zenit Kazan" (NORBIT: Management of professional sports club)

The management system for Zenit Kazan club created by NORBIT company on the basis of own development – the solution for sports clubs (Microsoft Dynamics Ax platform), covers processes of budgeting and the cost accounting, implementation of purchases, managements of a warehouse and settlings with suppliers. The specialized module "Sport" provides maintaining in the system of all base of players, their sports history and contracts. The solution allows to increase the general controllability sports club, to carry out the analysis of game statistics and also provides reliability of operational and quantitative accounting, accuracy and timeliness of purchasing processes.

Situation

The decision on implementation of an information system for management of sports club was made to optimize due to the need in VK "Zenit Kazan" key logistic and financial business processes, to create a common information space (to integrate bases of athletes and fans, analytics of matches, tournaments, trainings).

Requirements to the system of VK "Zenit Kazan" were created, proceeding from requirements of club and strategic plans of development. By estimates of the management of the Kazan Zenit, the corporate information system should answer not only to the current tasks, but also give opportunities to develop organically according to features of the sports industry and also to control onto all activity of club and to quickly obtain all necessary information for acceptance of management decisions.

The main criteria and requirements to a software platform for a corporate system of management Zenit Kazan were:
