VimpelCom completes integration of acquired companies migration of subscribers

On October 30, 2013 the AT Consulting integrator announced end of the joint project with JSC VimpelCom on migration of the subscribers who were earlier serviced in "Nova of the telephone company" in the centralized IT systems of VimpelCom.

Project Tasks

In June, 2011 VimpelCom acquired 90% of shares "Nova of the telephone company" and in February, 2012 brought a share to 100%. Accession of NTK to VimpelCom de jure took place in June, 2013 and the migration of subscriber data which is carried out at the end of September, 2013 - the final stage of integration of the companies.

Project Results

Preparation for migration began in February, 2013 when the command started the analysis of the initial systems. Productive migration took place on September 20-21, 2013. By October 30, 2013 the patronage period came to the end. The information about subscribers of NTK is transferred to more than 30 key support systems of business of the operator among which there are billing systems, CRM, the system of self-service, etc.

Problems of the AT Consulting command included analytics on transfer of a subscriber base, testing and software development for data translation to formats of direct systems.

Besides, migration gave an opportunity to our clients in Primorye to use such services as updated Personal account, roaming options, a video call, services of a mobile commerce, etc.", – Tatyana Smirnova, the head on IT in company regions to VimpelCom noted.
