Wildberries upgraded the warehouse automation equipment

On January 30, 2017 the company "ZIP Baltika" announced an implementation project of the automation equipment of a warehouse by request internet- shop Wildberries. At the heart of technology development the equipment and technologies of the company Schneider Electric.

Project Tasks

The shop needed upgrade of the sorter operating in a warehouse. The sorter of one of the European producers did not conform to requirements as had technological limits by the size and a type of the sorted goods. Besides, the technology of loading of goods on this sorter required involvement of additional personnel for preliminary sorting of goods according to types and filling of a turnover container.

Project Progress

"ZIP Baltika" created the project of the sorter EnDeEx using the equipment of Schneider Electric company, made, developed software and mounted the equipment.

Project Results

The created line of sorting provides high performance — processes up to 2 thousand orders per hour for two operators. Labor productivity of operators grew by 50%. The line allows to sort broader range of goods – the range of the goods which are giving in to sorting is practically not limited: from lipstick for lips to a down-padded coat or a pillow. The maximum sizes of EnDeEx of packagings 700 x 600 x 280 mm processed by a presorter, minimum — 50 x 10 x 10 mm.

Sorting is executed by the barcode. The sorter meets requirements of Wildberries company. Its implementation allowed to adjust rhythmical work on timely accomplishment of customer orders that became essential advantage in the conditions of the competition.
