2020: Delivery of equipment for the creation of a computing complex
Delta Computers provided equipment for creating a high-performance computing complex for providing IT resources to internal consumers. Wildberries
As part of the project, the customer used a financial model for estimating the cost of owning IT infrastructure (TCO). The main role was played by factors such as Priceper Core, Priceper Watt, Rack Unit Price, etc. Various manufacturers of server equipment were compared - both classical architecture and the Open Compute Project.
The computing complex is a high-density solution that houses 40 server blades in one Open Compute Project server chassis, which together provide about two thousand physical cores available for customer IT needs and localized in one stand.
Such a project required a product capable of providing effective power to the complex. Rack-integrated power systems that meet the Open Compute Project standard do the job efficiently and transform power while minimizing waste.
The Delta Computers solution reflects global IT infrastructure practices and trends where the customer will not face a choice between performance and cost.
The Open Compute Project- based computing system has shown the greatest efficiency in comparison with other solutions.
