Yandex (Oracle E-Business Suite (OEBS))

Polina Minevich, the senior manager of competence center on IT solutions for Yandex of AT Consulting company, performed with the presentation about implementation of Oracle E-Business Suite R12 in the largest Russian Internet company. The project started in the middle of 2011 and is an example of successful cooperation of all its participants.

The project means automation of all basic accounting processes of the Internet company in a uniform ERP system: fixed asset accounting, deferred expenses and intangible assets, accounting and tax reportings under the Russian standards and under GAAP, equipment procurement and services and also budget control on purchases, settlings with partners, accounting of projects, management of lifecycle of the equipment and warehouse logistics, personnel management, payroll calculation, etc.

The project started in 2011. Preproject inspection lasted three months – from March to June, and input of a system in operation began in April, 2012. The first stage of implementation assumes automation of all basic accounting processes, budget control and also processes of preparation of the annual budget and the plan fact of the analysis in the solution of Oracle for planning, budgeting and operational planning – Hyperion Planning.

The second stage in 2012-2013 assumes further development of Oracle e-Business Suite and control automation by lifecycle of the equipment and warehouse logistics based on the module Asset Tracking. With its help "Yandex", mainly, will keep account of the IT equipment of the company. At the same stage implementation of modules for personnel management and payroll calculation is planned.
