AMI completed creation of the CHAO fault-tolerant network environment "Yenakiieve koksokhimpry"

The AMI company in March, 2012 completed the project on creation of a fiber-optical backbone network of the data transmission which integrated in the unified information system a number of structural divisions of CHAO "Yenakiieve koksokhimpry", the large coke-chemical enterprise.

A failsafe network environment is created using active network equipment of production Cisco Systems, a cable and passive fiber-optical components of production of AMR Netconnect company. The system of uninterrupted power is constructed on the equipment of production APC by Schneider Electric.

The unified information environment implemented on a hardware platform of the high-performance Cisco switches Catalyst covers 20 certain buildings located in the territory of the plant. All network segments, critical for functioning of the enterprise, have alternative channels of communication.

23 switching centers connected among themselves by 6 kilometers of the optical cable are a part of CHAO network "Yenakiieve koksokhimpry". Each center represents the wiring closet equipped with uninterruptible power supply unit of production of APC by Schneider Electric company that allows to provide protection of an electric power supply and to minimize a negative impact of emergency situations in electropower lines.
