As reported, the retailer "Yes!" installed the Smart ID Engine recognition module, which extracts data from the candidates' certification documents and transfers them to the personnel accounting system based on "1C." Thanks to the accuracy of Smart ID Engine data extraction algorithms in images, it was possible to optimize the processing time of a set of documents. Work on the implementation of recognition software in the 1C system was carried out without involving Smart Engines employees.

In 2022, Roskomnadzor recorded a record 150 cases of personal data leaks. In total, in 2022, InfoWatch estimates, 667 million unique records have leaked. Recognition in the Smart ID Engine is always local and does not require a network connection.

Smart ID Engine provides recognition of the main spread of the Russian passport in an image in 0.15 seconds, even on a mobile phone. In server solutions, without GPU computing, the system recognizes 55 passport spread images in 1 second. The Smart ID Engine is based on the proprietary GreenOCR optical character recognition technology created by Smart Engines scientists.

In addition to the passport of the Russian Federation, SNILS and TIN Smart ID Engine recognizes other documents of the applicant - a work book, driver's license, diploma of education, birth certificate and marriage certificate. As of July 2023, the program supports the recognition of more than 2,400 types of certification documents of 220 countries and jurisdictions in 102 languages, including documents of the EAEU countries.
