Yunipro increases the level of information security using Solar JSOC

On February 20, 2018 the Solar Security company announced cooperation increase with PJSC Yunipro.

PJSC Yunipro is the Russian energy company with foreign participation entering into Uniper international concern. Within the global strategy of concern PJSC Yunipro was faced by a task of implementation of the Security Operations Center functions or in the creation mode in the company (in-house), or on the basis of service model (as a service). In PJSC Yunipro the decision on creation of hybrid model of interaction was made: problems of monitoring and investigation of incidents of information security were transferred to Solar JSOC, incident analysis is performed on the 3rd to the stage scheme in dense interaction of specialists of Solar JSOC and PJSC Yunipro, at the same time was decided to close questions of reaction and mitigation of consequences internal resources of the company.

At the first stage of the project key infrastructure of corporate network of head office PJSC Yunipro was connected to Solar JSOC service. Connection took month then processes of monitoring and investigation of incidents started. In a year the first results of cooperation of PJSC Yunipro and Solar JSOC which demonstrated increase in level of security of the company were summed up. Based on this stage it was decided to expand a framework of cooperation and to include in it the following tasks:

• Scaling of a coverage of Solar JSOC service on all branch network of PJSC Yunipro.
• Automation and regulation of processes of reaction and investigation of incidents of cybersecurity with joint participation of staff of PJSC Yunipro and Solar JSOC.
• Customization of service under features of business processes of PJSC Yunipro and requirements for profound analytics of the vectors of the attacks, most relevant for business of the company.

In four months of joint work of PJSC Yunipro and Solar JSOC all key infrastructure of corporate network of the customer was connected to service of monitoring, the full stroke of incident management of cybersecurity with control of results on each of analysis stages and investigation is started. Thanks to customization of a basic service of Solar JSOC under focal needs of the customer it was succeeded to achieve the guaranteed time of reaction and investigation of incidents and also to reduce the number of false operations by 40% in comparison with the first stage of connection.
