ZF upgrades a structured cabling system

For the purpose of ensuring uninterrupted communication and effective work of the Russian representative office ZF, LanKey system integrator performed a complex of works on reorganization and installation of a structured cabling system.

ZF is one of the leading world concerns in the field of production of automobile spare parts and integrates 121 production sites in 26 countries of the world. In Russia the concern is provided by ZF Russia company and ZF Kama joint venture. Due to the incorrect work of the existing structured cabling system in the Russian representative office, the management of ZF Russia made the decision on restructuring and construction of a new cable network in workshops and office of representation.

Obligations for upgrade and installation of a structured cabling system were assumed by LanKey system integrator. During the course of performance works as specialists of LanKey company transfer and connection of the installed active equipment in telecommunication cabinets is performed and power supply supply is implemented. Installation of a new structured cabling system was complicated by altitude of an object and existence of production premises in which it is forbidden to perform dusty works that did not allow to perform installation of a tray directly to a ceiling or walls. To set network in production workshops, erection teams of LanKey laid cables on the existing cable passages and cable constructions. The structured cabling system is mounted with proper quality and supplied with the warranty certificate for 25-year term.

The modern structured cabling system conforming to the international standards of quality and project requirements allowed to facilitate service of network, to evenly distribute load of network and to ensure smooth operation of utilities in the Russian representative office of ZF.
