Zenit bank (3-D Secure (3D-Secure))

The ZENIT bank implemented in the summer of 2014 technology 3-D Secure for all types of MasterCard cards of the payment service provider, having increased safety of calculations on the Internet. Thanks to 3-D Secure bank authenticates the card holder by introduction of the additional one-time password received by the SMS. Service is free for clients of Bank and is connected automatically.

"The bank already has experience with similar technology – for cards of Visa system 3-D Secure (Verified by Visa) was implemented in the fall of 2013. Now security increased for all clients of Bank – holders of cards, irrespective of type of payment system. As the increasing number of online stores uses these technologies at commission by clients of purchases, reliability and safety of such calculations grows every day", – the Vice chairman of the board of ZENIT Bank Alexey Rozorenov says.

At payment of goods in the online store supporting MasterCard SecureCode service, the card holder enters at first queried data of the card, then is redirected on the website of ZENIT Bank where in a special form enters the one-time password for payment confirmation. The password comes to the card holder in the Sms together with data of online store and the amount of purchase.
