NPO Zerde completes system implementation of management of a warehouse complex

LogistiX automated work of a warehouse complex of Zerde company, the company integrator reported on December 18, 2012. The project is implemented using the warehouse management system LEAD WMS 4.

Background

The automated warehouse complex "A" of a class with a total area more than 5500 sq.m. is intended for processing of pharmaceutical products and has different temperature conditions of storage.

"We carried out the analysis of WMS - systems which are used in the pharmaceutical industry in Kazakhstan. The LEAD WMS system conformed to all requirements declared us. Besides, on the basis of this solution in the republic there are already successful projects. The main objective consisted in ensuring optimal automation of all business processes of a warehouse complex due to application of the high-performance and adaptable solution considering industry specifics of our enterprise", - Elmira Zhuzbayeva, the chief executive of Zerde noted.

According to Dmitry Blinov, the technical director of the company of LogistiX, one of features of the project became planned correction of warehouse processes for their maximum optimization before start of WMS.

"Adaptation of relevant technology of cargo processing – one of key tasks for increase in efficiency of the logistic centers. Therefore we booked audit of technology of work of a complex, having revealed a number of the changes which found the reflection in settings of a management system. Today to Zerda has such solution", - Dmitry Blinov noted.

"Thanks to a scaling option, flexibility of LEAD WMS and specialists of LogistiX company in a short time changes are made to system operation of management, according to the corrected processes. As a result the solution allowing to exercise full control of work of personnel, technicians and the warehouse equipment in real time is received, optimizing at the same time costs for accomplishment of warehouse transactions. Now each employee of a complex is capable to process more than 500 transactions of set for change. We received such result in only two weeks after start of LEAD WMS", - Elmira Zhuzbayeva emphasized.
