Zhytomyr pharmaceutical factory: ERP IFS Applications

Implementation at the enterprise of the complex ERP solution IFS Applications for the pharmaceutical industry is aimed at production organization, conforming to national and international standards (GMP). Works were performed in time by specialists of Alter Sistems company, the partner of IFS CEE in Ukraine. The project is implemented in 10 months, and at the moment a system is in commercial operation. The project meant creation of a corporate information system on the basis of the software package including the following IFS Applications components:

• IFS/Production (Material requirement planning, Planning on restrictions, Capacity requirements planning, the Replaceable task, the Shop order, the Production cost accounting, Volume scheduling)
• IFS/Quality control for pharmaceutical industry
• IFS/Finance
• IFS/Distribution (Invoices, the Manager of supply, Is sold, the Manager is sold, Inventory management)
• IFS/Budgeting
• IFS/cost value Calculation
• IFS/Personnel (Time keeping, Organization structure of the enterprise)

The project was implemented in 10 months and at the beginning of 2009 start of a system in commercial operation was performed.

Pharmaceutical production and production of the medical equipment - one of target segments of the market for IFS. Large and medium-sized enterprises with the process, discrete and mixed type of production use IFS Applications for optimization of the business processes. Supporting processes of management of projects, engineering, planning on restrictions, productions and distributions, the solutions IFS help to improve quality of the made products, to lower costs and to strengthen competitive positions of the enterprise in the market.
