Structure of the company

For 2016 the company consists of three divisions:

• TmaxSoft,
• TmaxGlobal and working independently
• TmaxData (former Tibero).

Since 2013, TmaxSoft - the supplier of corporate program systems in the Republic of Korea, is focused on the world market. The headquarters of TmaxSoft is located in South Korea, the largest offices are in Russia, Great Britain, Brazil, Japan, China, Singapore and the USA.

In the 4th quarter 2013 the Russian division of Tmax - Timeks Rus for work in the market of Russia, the CIS and Eastern Europe is opened.

History

2015: Plan of expansion of world expansion

Growth catalyst in internal and external steel markets continuous updates of Tibero DBMS which led to improvement of characteristic and system performance. TmaxSoft plans expansion of a market share of DBMS in Korea, having integrated Tibero with own Middleware-technology (the JEUS Web server of applications) which is number one in the market from shares more than 42% in 2014 (a source: IDC Korea).

In 2015 the company is going to increase income by $100 million in Korea and for $109 million abroad.

To achieve success, TmaxSoft builds systematic interaction with each foreign subsidiary company (one of which is located in Russia) for fixing of Tibero DBMS on the world scene. For fast penetration on foreign markets, TmaxSoft it is focused on strategic alliances with local partners and also cooperation in marketing and sales. Besides, selection of regional leaders is used quickly to adapt to local market. TmaxSoft is going to increase gradually number of the subsidiary foreign companies from seven to 30. Development plans belong to the countries, such as France, Italy, Germany, Spain, Sweden, the Netherlands, Portugal, Turkey, Hungary, Poland, Canada, Mexico, Chile, Colombia, Peru, India, Indonesia, Australia, Taiwan, Vietnam, Dubai and South Africa.

Also TmaxSoft plans release of key products within the strategy "The platform for Big Data" to enter quickly growing Big Data market. In the first quarter 2015 the release of Tibero 6 DBMS with advanced functionality and high stability, the solutions ProObject — new platform Java with the high-performance architecture which is released last year in addition to ZetaData releases — lines of hardware and software systems of the similar exaData from Oracle but untied from the "iron" platform and also to AnyMiner and DataHub — solutions of analytics and work with logs in Tibero DBMS is planned. TmaxSoft is going to become the leader in the software market for the corporate sector.

2014: Contracts in Russia, Japan and Singapore

For 2014 a large number of contracts with the foreign companies, including from the financial and energy sector of Russia, by the large Chinese leader in production of the Inspur servers, the Singapore airline Singapore Airlines was signed. In Japan TmaxSoft began cooperation with Red Hat, having offered the market the product combining Linux and Tibero. It is compatible to Oracle, however the cost of licenses and operating costs is more than 50% less, than at a similar configuration at Oracle.

By the beginning of 2014 8 offices are opened: Russia, USA, Japan, China, Singapore, Great Britain, Brazil, UAE. It is going to bring quantity to 21 countries to 2015.

After implementation of JEUS (the web application server), TIBERO RDBMS (the interface for database management), ProFrame (the environment for application development), and OpenFrame (migration a mainframe), TmaxSoft became the supplier in international market.

All infrastructure software as middleware, DBMS, framework, and re-hosting is developed on own technologies.

In 2014 on areas of responsibility of TmaxSoft and Tibero are responsible for South Korea, TmaxGlobal concentrates on the international business.

1997: The Korean professor founds the company

The company is founded in 1997 by professor of Daeyeon Park.

Technologies and products

Having begun activity as the supplier of the transaction monitor Tmax, by 2016 TmaxSoft took the dominating position in the Korean market with Java EE a web application server JEUS and the WebtoB Web server. In 2016 TmaxSoft offers customers products DBMS and Middleware. Among leaders – relational corporate DBMS Tibero, the hardware and software system ZetaData, means of replication of ProSync, the solution AnyMiner and DataHub under tasks BigData, performance control of applications SysMaster and OpenFrame – tool kit for a re-hosting of mainframes.

Flagship product of TmaxSoft Tibero – high-performance and technological DBMS with support of technologies of a clustering, the built-in means of fault tolerance and backup. Projects on migration on our DBMS are possible due to compatibility and support of the most popular functionality of Oracle (more than 95% of PL/SQL and SQL).

In a portfolio of the company there are also solutions for the organization of a full stroke of processing and information storage in databases: online replication of data (with the ETL function), the server of web applications and the Web server, the monitor and optimization of performance of DBMS and application servers.
