Secret Disk Server NG is the system of protection of corporate databases and confidential information on servers from unauthorized access. As a result of optimization of the used technologies users of the solution will increase the speed of work with the ciphered data on average by 30%.

According to the last research Gartner growth of amounts of data is one of the most serious problems for hardware infrastructure of most the large companies. 2018: Prolongation of the FSTEC certificate of Russia

The company Aladdin R.D., the Russian developer and solution provider for providing information security, at the end of March, 2018 stated that the complex data protection on server from unauthorized access, copying, damage, theft or illegal withdrawal of Secret Disk Server NG (SDS NG) of version 3.8 underwent inspection control in FSTEC Russia. Based on check the existing certificate of conformity No. 3358 was prolonged till March 6, 2021.

The updated certificate certifies that SDS NG is the software tool of protection against unauthorized access to information which is not containing the data which are the state secret, implementing functions of identification and authentication, access control and registration of events of security protection against unauthorized access to information conforms to requirements of the regulating document ". Part 1. Information security software. Classification by the level of absence control of not declared opportunities" (State Technical Commission of Russia, 1999) — on the 4th level of control (NDV 4) and also requirements of specifications. It allows to use SDS NG in personal data information systems to 1 level of security inclusive and the state information systems up to 1 class of security inclusive and also during creation of automated information systems to a class of security 1G inclusive.

Positive results of passing of inspection control demonstrate that the software package SDS NG is created taking into account the requirements to information security support and reliability of work shown by big state and corporate customers.

According to the requirements to deliveries of the certified products approved by FSTEC of Russia, the certified version of SDS NG is delivered only as a part of a set (Media Kit) on the optical medium of information containing the verified SDS NG distribution kit and necessary documentation.

2016

NPO BAUM tested the system of protection Secret Disk Server NG

In BAUM laboratory the system of confidential information protection and the personal data Secret Disk Server NG as means of data encryption which are stored on disks of DWH was tested. Secret Disk Server NG is a complex of confidential information protection and corporate databases on servers from unauthorized access, copying, damage, theft or illegal withdrawal. The Secret Disk Server NG system protects data and suppresses the fact of their existence on the server. At data writing on a disk there is their encryption, when reading — deciphering. The data which are on a disk are always ciphered that makes access to them impossible for the malefactor even if he will get physical access to the server or the hard drive.

2012

Secret Disk Server NG 3.7

The Aladdin R.D. company, the Russian developer of solutions on information security, announced in May, 2012 release of updating of Secret Disk Server NG. New version (3.7) of a product ensures safe functioning with the confidential information which is stored on the corporate server.

Using the hardware and software system Secret Disk Server NG users can cipher disks, protecting data from unauthorized access, copying, damage, theft or illegal withdrawal. The connected protected disk is used in the same way as normal. The disconnected protected disk is represented in a system as unformatted, says Aladdin R.D.

As noted, version 3.7 includes functionality of the previous versions and also the new additions providing higher level of data protection and convenience of work of users.

Among opportunities of the updated SDS NG it is possible to select: preserving of a master key of disk encryption on paper carrier and the subsequent restoring access to the ciphered data in case of damage or loss of other key information; canceling of the started process of enciphering / deciphering / redisk encryption; simultaneous connection / shutdown of all disks; display of the version of components of a product in the management console.

Secret Disk Server NG 3.7 is recommended for use as replacement of the previous versions of a system and also for all new installations.

Secret Disk Server NG 3.8

The version of Secret Disk Server NG 3.8 is equipped with support of electronic keys of new generation JaCarta, OS Microsoft Windows Server 2012 and support of the failover clusters used for the organization of file storages.

Besides, in version 3.8 service of licensing (it is intended for remote assembling of electronic keys with licenses of the server), service of deposition (the distributed database intended for ensuring component interaction of Secret Disk Server NG which are on different nodes) are added and also a number of errors is corrected.

The software package Secret Disk Server NG 3.8 is certified by the Federal Service for Technical and Export Control (FSTEC of Russia) on the 4th NDV and specification level. Certificate of conformity No. 3358 issued by FSTEC of Russia on March 6, 2015 certifies that the software package Secret Disk Server NG 3.8 is the software tool of protection against unauthorized access to information which is not containing the data which are the state secret, implementing functions of identification and authentication, access control and registration of events of security.

According to the document, the Secret Disk Server NG 3.8 PC "Protection against unauthorized access to information completely conforms to requirements of the regulating document. Part 1. Information security software. Classification by the level of absence control of not declared opportunities" on the 4th level of control and specifications that allows to use a complex during creation and application of automated systems to a class of security 1G and personal data information systems to 1 class inclusive.

Secret Disk Server NG 3.6

The Aladdin R.D. company, the Russian developer of solutions on information security, announced in November, 2011 a release of new version (3.6) of Secret Disk Server NG — a hardware and software system for ensuring safe work with the confidential information which is stored on the corporate server.

Data encryption on file servers and application servers — one of the most relevant tasks of corporate customers. Their successful solution is a condition of stabilization and business continuity, and in some cases — the direct requirement of the Russian legislation. The HSS of Secret Disk Server NG allows to cipher disks, transforming them to the protected volumes. At the same time the connected protected disk is used in the same way as normal, and disconnected is presented in a system in the form of an unformatted disk, says Aladdin R.D.

In version 3.6 the possibility of placement of the virtual ciphered disks on network resources is implemented that allows to use remote data warehouses and the file servers and also the support of SafeNet Authentication Client (SAC) of version 8.1 expanding possibilities of customers on creation of a flexible information security system of the enterprise.

Secret Disk Server NG allows to cipher separate hard drives of the server, any disk arrays (external and internal, program and hardware RAIDs) and also removable disks (for example, connected to the server for backup). At data reading from a disk there is their deciphering, at disk writing — encryption. Thus, the data which are on a disk are always protected from unauthorized access, even in case of withdrawal of a separate disk or all server entirely. At this Secret Disk Server NG not only protects data, but also suppresses the fact of their existence on the server.

Secret Disk Server NG 3.6 is recommended for universal use as replacement of the previous versions of a system and also for all new installations. In the version of a product support of Windows 2000 Server is excluded, users of this system need to update the operating system to the supported versions or to use Secret Disk Server NG 3.6.

User support of Secret Disk Server NG 3.6 will be performed till October, 2012.
