Research Institute Federal State Institution of children's infections of Federal Medical Biological Agency

The research institute of children's infections is the scientific medical institution unique in Russia on a combination of opportunities of delivery of health care to children and adults not only to infectious and parasitic, but also other diseases and use for these purposes of modern scientifically based medical technologies which in most cases are results of the scientific research on many problems of modern medicine conducted at institute.

Clinical departments of institute are expected delivery of health care to 350 children, the intensive care unit includes 12 beds. Based on clinical departments the day hospital functions. Annually medical care about 10 thousand is provided to sick children in clinic with the most different diseases. Besides, in polyclinic department in which outpatient appointment is performed of both children, and adults, qualified professionals (professor, the doctor and candidates of medical sciences) provide medical care of 8-10 thousand more to patients.

Research activity is performed in 15 scientific departments.
