Deltix — the company founded in 2005 specializing in software development and services for financial structures. Deltix works with hedge funds, private trading companies, investment management companies and banks.

History

2020: Epam purchased Deltix

On March 20, 2020 Deltix announced the transaction within which the company was sold to the decision maker for Epam Systems software development. The financial component of the agreement is not opened, as well as other conditions.

It is noted only that as a part of Epam the Deltix company will create laboratory for accomplishment of real-time computings which as it is specified in the press release, will become competence center (center of excellence) in the field of processing and the analysis of events in real time. The laboratory to focus on work with the data connected with trade in cryptocurrency, risk management and the capitals and also with technologies of signal processing and Internet of Things.

By March 23, 2020 the main office Deltix locates in Natika (Massachusetts, the USA). Also the company has offices New York, Minsk and St. Petersburg. Number of staff is about 50 people, generally it is software engineers with academic degrees on mathematics and information science.

In a client portfolio of Deltix there are more than 120 companies among which — Barclays, Deutsche Bank, UBS, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan.

As a part of Epam the Deltix company will continue to develop software and services, and Epam will use technologies examination of a financial technical-startup in the projects on the market of finance, retail, health care, hotel services, etc.[1]
