Owners

The company works under own brand and also under brands Orange and T-Mobile (February, 2013).

Performance Indicators

The subscriber base of EE makes 27 million people, and the number of employees exceeds 15 thousand (February, 2013).

Except EE, the considerable market share of Great Britain is occupied by O2, 3 and Vodafone mobile operators. In total in the country more than 50 cellular companies, but the vast majority of them — virtual work. In other words, they use infrastructure of other operators for providing the services.

EE uses own infrastructure. So, during 2009-2012 the company invested nearly two billion dollars in development of 4G networks.

History

The Everything Everywhere (EE) company was created in 2010. On 50 percent of its actions belonged to the German corporation Deutsche Telekom and the French France Telekom.

2013: Preparation for the IPO

In February, 2013 it became known that EE will carry out initial public offering on the London Stock Exchange (LSE). According to The Daily Telegraph with reference to sources in the company, the operator is going to attract 15.7 billion dollars, having sold 25 percent of the actions[1].

It is supposed that the IPO will take place in September, 2013. EE conducts search of consultants for the securities placement at the exchange. There is no official confirmation of plans of the company for the IPO organization. Earlier shareholders of EE said that they intend to review an asset management system and including consider sale of a part of its securities at the exchange.

If a quarter of the stocks Everything Everywhere is sold for 15 billion dollars, then total capitalization of the company will exceed 45 billion. In that case EE will become one of the most expensive mobile operators of the world, but will concede all the same to market leaders. So, the largest mobile operator Vodafone of Europe is more expensive than hundred billion dollars, and the leader of the Chinese market of China Mobile — more than 125 billion. For comparison, capitalization Russian MTS makes about 19.6 billion dollars, and VimpelCom (a trademark Beeline) — 19.7 billion. At the same time the base of subscribers of MTS exceeded 100 million people in 2012.
