2022: Shipment of 3.5m chocolate bars

The Metropolitan Manufacturing Company produced and shipped 3.5 million chocolate bars in 2022 - 12 per cent higher than in 2021. The company also significantly expanded the range of products of the "healthy lifestyle" category and agreed on the supply of its products to federal retail chains. This was announced on December 16, 2022 by the head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy of Moscow, which is part of the Complex of Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations of the capital, Vladislav Ovchinsky.

Moscow remains one of the country's largest food producers. There are more and more enterprises in the city that make not only traditional sweets, but also the so-called healthy ones - for example, with a reduced sugar content. Increased demand for such products and vacated niches guarantee stable growth for the industry. So, one of the capital's companies in 2022 increased its deliveries by 12 percent, to 3.5 million chocolate bars with a natural composition, and also launched three new product lines and began shipping to stores of large Russian retailers, - said Vladislav Ovchinsky.

Localization of production in the capital gives investors access to large sales markets, developed industrial infrastructure and a large pool of system support for the city. For example, as of December 2022, enterprises can take advantage of more than 20 measures. In addition, a number of anti-crisis tools have been developed.

The products that FOOD REV produces under the KICK Your Energy brand do not contain refined sugar, dairy products, animal products, artificial additives and preservatives.

In December 2022, the manufacturer introduced a line of date bars in dark chocolate without sugar. It includes six flavors: with hazelnuts, cranberries, caramel, banana, air rice and spicy apple - this bar is also released in a limited New Year's design. The company is preparing to launch a line of gluten-free products.

In production, we use the natural sweetener erythritol. It does not disrupt metabolism or cause spikes in blood sugar levels. For the basis of the new line, we chose dates because they are rich in B vitamins, potassium and magnesium. These substances support brain function and balance the nervous system under intellectual loads. And fiber in dates helps digestion, - said the co-founder of the company Anna Berseneva.
