2021: Attracting investment, including from Day One Ventures

At the end of March 2021, founded by the former PR director of Acronis, the Day One Ventures fund invested in the Haystack platform for collaboration. In addition to this fund, Greycroft, Coatue Management and several business angels were investors. The service platform will serve as a single center where employees can "find important ads, gain new knowledge and communicate with colleagues."

Haystack is aimed at relatively large companies with at least 300 employees and provides them with a modern, easy-to-configure platform with deep corporate integration and universal search.

Almost every company with a certain number of employees should have an internal network, "explained Cameron Lindsay, co-founder and CEO of Haystack. - They are either created inside the company at a high price and isolated from other systems, or purchased in "modern" intranets, which ultimately resemble older social networks more than tools for work. It takes months to set up these products, so companies prefer to start from scratch rather than integrate with existing systems.

Unlike these services, Haystack offers enterprises to combine all their employees, systems and communication channels into a centralized hub. The company provides a set of ready-made connectors for many popular SaaS business tools, such as Slack, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Workday, Okta and Atlassian's Conflict, and also offers APIs for enterprises that want to develop more customized integrations. Haystack also offers universal search capabilities across all channels. All of this is ultimately designed to spare staff the need to switch between several applications to find key information.[1]
