Hyperwise

In February, 2015 the Check Point Software company purchased the Israeli startup of Hyperwise. Purchase expands Check Point solution portfolio for prevention of threats that will allow customers to stop cyber attacks till their beginning. Founders and the staff of Hyperwise will be a part of Check Point, and the new technology will be integrated into existing solutions on detection of threats of Check Point Threat Emulation. It is expected that the transaction will not affect financial performance of the company. Conditions of purchase of a startup are not disclosed.

The existing approaches to prevention of threats are traditionally concentrated on detection and blocking of the malware only after the first manifestations of its activity therefore the gap in security at early stages of the attack is formed. Thanks to acquisition of advanced Hyperwise Check Point technologies will be able to keep track of activity of the malware and in this period now and to detect a malicious code prior to the beginning of infection. Integration of technologies of prevention of threats at the level of the CPU will help to block threats unknown earlier and also will in addition increase the level of recognition of malware of a system of emulation of threats Check Point Threat Emulation.
