The HID Global company announced in February, 2014 acquisition of company IdenTrust, Inc., solution provider for creation of globally compatible digital certificates using which it is possible to certify, cipher and create electronic signatures for any transaction types or transactions which require confirmation of the personality. This acquisition considerably expands possibilities of HID Global on providing the most protected solutions of safe identification for government structures, business companies and financial institutions worldwide.

IdenTrust is a supplier of digital certificates for the program of external certificate authority of the U.S. Department of Defense and certificates of access to electronic services of Management of services of general purpose. IdenTrust provides solutions for management of identification more than to twenty largest world financial institutions. In Great Britain digital certificates of IdenTrust ensure safety more than six billion payment transactions a year for the total amount exceeding 7 trillion dollars.

The authentication system of IdenTrust developed especially for banks provides legally and technology compatible environment for assurance and use of identification data in more than 175 countries. IdenTrust gives the chance to end users to have the uniform certificate which can be used in any bank, for any application and in any network.
