Created at the beginning of 2012 by Sergey Azatyan and Anton Inshutin from $100 million the attracted capital, the InVenture Partners Fund sets as the purpose promotion of the new progressive market models based on advanced technologies which cardinally change traditional branches of the economy do more convenient life of people and increase transparency of the economic relations.

Inventure Partners develops projects in such segments as transport and tourist services, financial technologies, marketplaces, online education, media and solutions for business.

Directions of investments

InVenture Partners invests in the leading companies working in the field of technologies (2012), especially in such segments as the Internet, mobile technologies, the software and e-commerce.

The portfolio of InVenture Partners for October, 2012 includes the following companies:

In December, 2015 the company called itself "one of the largest players in the Internet industry" and announced that it develops 7 projects which "are leaders in the segments":

  • Gett (taxi),
  • Busfor (bus transportations),
  • Netology (online education),
  • AmWell (telemedicine),
  • Chronext (the platform for sale of luxury hours) and others.

In December, 2015 InVenture Partners redeemed a share in ID of Fashion of press and the Grazia magazine from the Finnish Sanoma. The number of assets in which the company received a share included editions:

  • Cosmopolitan,
  • Esquire,
  • "Popular mechanics",
  • Harper's BAZAAR,
  • "Home", their online media and
  • Robb Report magazine

Amount of investments

"In spite of the fact that golden mean for us are investments of $2-10 million in size, in general we are ready to show flexibility concerning investment volume and are capable to finance perspective business structures both at early stages of development, and at much later stages" (October, 2012).

In June, 2013 the company reported that the average target amount of one investment is in range from 2 to 5 million dollars for the companies of an early stage of development and to 50 million dollars for the companies with an essential market share.

History

2015: Inventure Partners redeems from Sanoma of ID Fashion of press and the Grazia magazine

On December 30, 2015 Inventure Partners announced that the consortium of investors under control of Inventure Partners purchases Sanoma share in Hearst Independent Media Publishing B.V., parent company Fashion press LLC. The portfolio of Fashion of press includes some of the most famous printing magazines in Russia: Cosmopolitan, Esquire, "Popular mechanics", Harper's BAZAAR and Home, their online media and Robb Report magazine. Hearst, one of the world's largest media companies, remains the active shareholder and will continue support of business in Russia.

In addition to Fashion of press of Inventure Partners completely purchases Mondadori Independent Media LLC (issues the Grazia magazine).

Inventure Partners is going to develop the printing editions "Fashion Press" and also intends to grow up from the company of the leader in online media with focus on segments of a fashion, lifestyle and new technologies, using the examination in the field of development of technological products, online marketing and advertizing. Inventure Partners stated that it will develop the innovation, customer-oriented products in the company and new business models for the publishing market.

2014: Investments into the platform of online courses Netology

The Netology company announced in April, 2014 the investment attraction from InVenture Partners fund during A round. Business valuation of Netology within the transaction made $5.6 million. InVenture Partners received a minority share in the project. The raised funds will be aimed at the development of the online platform of interactive rates of Netology, start of the mobile direction in the companies and creation of new educational programs and rates.
