In October 2010, the Ketchum communications network acquired a controlling stake in Maslov PR. From that moment, the company continued to operate in the market under the Ketchum Maslov brand. In 2017, the agency was renamed Ketchum. In 2022, after the start of Russia's special operation in Ukraine, the company came under the control of co-founders Mikhail Maslov and Sergei Chumin.

Areas of activity

The main activities of the agency are strategic consulting on information policy, image and reputation, establishing and developing relations with the media, internal corporate communications and organizing special events.

For 2017, the Russian office of the Ketchum agency coordinates the work of the regional network in eight markets of the countries of the former USSR.

Clients

For April 2017 and August 2022, Philips is serviced in Russia. As of February 2012, IBM was conducting PR service in Russia.

History

2022: Transfer of control over the company to Mikhail Maslov and Sergey Chumin and renaming to Maslov: agency after the start of Russia's special operation in Ukraine

In March 2022, after the start of Russia's special operation in Ukraine, the Ketchum agency (part of the Omnicom Group holding) announced "withdrawal from the Russian market" - control over the company was returned to the co-founders and partners of the Moscow office, Mikhail Maslov and Sergei Chumin. The company continues to operate under the maslov: agency brand.

Over 28 years of cooperation with the global consulting network, the company has grown out of the framework of a PR agency, specialized practices have appeared: from data analysis and visual development to support changes, establishing internal communications and working with government agencies.

2017: Renaming Russian office to Ketchum

In June 2017, the international agency Ketchum announced the transition of its Russian office Ketchum Maslov to a single global brand Ketchum. Rebranding is part of the company's long-term strategy, implemented in order to maintain brand uniformity around the world.

Mikhail Maslov is a partner and general director of the agency, remains a co-owner and retains all his functions and will, as before, be responsible for the work of the Moscow office and relations with key clients.

The change in the name of the Moscow office was preceded by a series of similar transformations in other markets. In 2009, Ketchum merged with the leading European consulting agency Pleon. In the following years, the European offices were renamed from Ketchum Pleon to Ketchum. Ketchum ICON in Singapore and Ketchum Estrategia in Brazil also changed their name to Ketchum shortly after their acquisition.

2008: Maslov PR Tashkent founded
