2019:3 car electric stations "Rosseti Center" operate in Orel

On December 23, 2019, Rosseti Center Orelenergo announced that its specialists, within the framework of the All-Russian Program for the Development of Infrastructure for Electric Transport, are systematically working to introduce roads, electric gas stations into urban space and along the routes. As of December 2019, 3 electric stations are already operating in the Oryol region.

Two gas stations located in the Oryol region in the village of Zhilina and the village of Nizhnyaya Kalinovka are combined with traditional network facilities - transformer substations that normally provide power to consumers and at the same time allow charging an electric car. These transformer substations are equipped with two terminals for charging electric vehicles and a transformer overload control system. Another gas station is located in the Livensky district and is located on the section of the federal highway Oryol-Tambov in the village. Cool. Its difference from the other two is that it is not built into the substation, but stands separately and is fed through an underground cable line.

All electric filling stations have their own peculiarities in implementation and the goal that the branch set for itself is to gain experience in operating electric filling stations for different conditions of use. The location of gas stations in the city limits allows you to provide power to consumers and carry out the function of charging electric vehicles, and outside the city - along the highway - contributes to convenient access to this service for traveling motorists. Thus, the branch is trying to create freedom of movement of electric transport between settlements.

Our networks cover almost the entire area. Transformer substations with built-in chargers can be connected to them, and owners of electric vehicles will no longer be limited in the ability to travel with the mileage of their car. We gain the first experience of solving the problem of creating a convenient infrastructure for our consumers in order to further replicate it,
noted Igor Kolubanov, Deputy Director-Chief Engineer of the Rosseti Center Oryolenergo branch

Charging stations for electric vehicles are in increasing demand. At the pilot project stage, Orelenergo provides electric car charging service for free. To do this, the owner just needs to get a identification RFID card at the Consumer Service Center.

2014: Orelenergo tested domestic unmanned aerial vehicle

IDGC of Center OJSC continues to implement a project for the comprehensive diagnostics of overhead power lines using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The implementation of this project is aimed at developing diagnostic systems in the company's power grid complex.

The branch of IDGC of Center OJSC - Orelenergo tested an unmanned aerial vehicle developed by employees and students of the Electricity Supply Department of the Oryol State Agrarian University to assess the state of power lines.

A trial launch took place on the basis of the Mtsensky district of electric networks, the subject of the study was an overhead power line with a length of 1.5 km. The event was attended by: acting Head of the Mtsensky RES of the IDGC of Center - Orelenergo OJSC branch Petr Abramov, Deputy Head of the Power Supply Department, participant in research work on the use of UAVs in electric grid organizations Alexander Semenov and electrician of IDGC of Center - Orelenergo OJSC Artem Moroz, who defended his thesis project on the use of UAVs.

Unmanned aerial photography during line overflights can significantly reduce the time to search for damage in case of their emergency shutdown. The time for inspecting the power line using the UAV was no more than 20-30 minutes, along with the preparation of the UAV for departure. According to the results of the studies, it was noted that with the use of UAVs, it is possible to control the performance of work in terms of clearing and expanding OL leaks.
