Russian State Professional and Pedagogical University (RSPPU)

The Russian State Professional and Pedagogical University (RSPPU) is federal public autonomous educational institution of the higher education (university of Yekaterinburg) which part institutes, college, branch and representations in the different cities of the Russian Federation are.

History

• 1979. The Russian state professional and pedagogical university begins the work in the status of the Sverdlovsk Engineering Pedagogical Institute (SEPI)
• 1993. SIPI was transformed to the Ural State Professional and Pedagogical University (USPPU).
• 2001 of UGPPU is transformed to the Russian state professional and pedagogical university. Thus, RGPPU became the only university located outside Moscow and St. Petersburg, having the status of the Russian university.
• 2009 of RGPPU one of the first Russian universities receives the status of the autonomous VPO educational institution.
• 2016. Walls of RGPPU leave the 50-thousand graduate.
