Russian Energy Agency (REA)
The Russian Energy Agency (REA) — the federal state institution subordinated to the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation providing implementation of the Federal law "About Energy Saving and Increase in Power Efficiency" and governmental activities in the field of energy efficiency, the innovation power, the renewable energy sources (RES). REA is the center of exchange of information, monitoring, training, coordination and stimulation of projects in the field of energy efficiency, renewable energy sources and innovations in energy industry. Besides, REA is an operator of the state information system in the field of energy saving and increase in energy efficiency and also authorized body of the Ministry of Economic Development on monitoring of processes of increase in energy efficiency in the budget sphere of the Russian Federation. Has an extensive network of branches in 70 regions of Russia.
