Biography

Alexander Aleksanyan was born in the city of Gyumri (Republic of Armenia). In 2007 he graduated from Vladimir State University with a degree in Mathematics, System Programmer.

He has extensive experience in large enterprises and research institutions in the field of information technology development and ensuring the sustainability of infrastructure. In particular, under his leadership, a single platform for processing and interpreting the data of the Russian Union of Auto Insurers was successfully developed and put into industrial operation, which is able to accompany the platforms for superservice - Europrotocol Online.

Aleksanyan also designed a platform for the services being developed as part of the digital transformation of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation, as well as the design of a unified IT monitoring system for the same organization, a data exchange system between state services of the Russian Federation.

With the participation of Aleksanyan, a high-performance computing cluster with liquid cooling was introduced and launched, which took first place in the ranking of the top 50 CIS supercomputers and 62nd in the top 500 of the world. Software has also been developed for managing a high-performance computing complex (more than 6 thousand servers).

More than 10 high-performance computing (HPC) projects have been implemented in the CIS and Europe, high-performance data centers have been designed and implemented, which are among the top 50 most powerful supercomputers in the CIS and the top 500 most powerful supercomputers in the world.

Since 2020, he was Assistant Minister for Internal Markets, Informatization, Information and Communication Technologies of the Eurasian Economic Commission. He was a member of the expert council on Russian software under the Ministry of Digital Affairs.

Since August 27, 2021 he was appointed director of the information technology department of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
