Robert Eydzhi  — from 1997 to 2009 the chief representative of Cisco in Russia. Since May, 2011 it is appointed to a post of the senior vice president in Russian Telecom Equipment Company. Within the position Robert will be responsible for business development of the company in the world market, strategic partnership and investments, merges and absorption and also long-term planning. Robert sees the main objective on a new post in expansion of business with already available customers and also search of new opportunities for implementation of large projects in the Russian market in cooperation with world leaders of the IT industry.

Was born in 1959 in California. Robert is a graduate of the university Berkeley (the USA, California) from which he graduated with honors. He also received Executive MBA degree at the International institute of managerial development (Lausanne, Switzerland).


Lives in Moscow since  1991.

Earlier, from 1991 to 1996 R. Eydzhi worked as the CEO of Xerox Corporation in the CIS countries where he created distributor network and considerably expanded sales and infrastructure of the company. Before Robert held positions of the managing director of Rank Xerox in Nigeria (1987-1990) and the area manager of Rank Xerox in Yugoslavia (1983-1986).

In Cisco Eydzhi worked since  1997, it passed into the company from a position of the general manager of Rank Xerox in the CIS countries. Earlier it held posts of the general manager in Russia, the general manager in the countries of Eastern and Central Europe, the managing director in Russia and other CIS countries.

Except the main work Eydzhi is a participant of Board of Directors of the American chamber of commerce and enters into its executive committee.

In October, 2010, having made in 13 years of work in Cisco a contribution to the company, Robert Agee made the decision on leaving. Heading activity of Cisco in Russia and other CIS countries, and for a number of years – and in all region of Eastern Europe, Robert proved the outstanding head.

With Robert's participation the Russian department of a financial structure of Cisco Capital and Almaz — Capital/Cisco Fund I venture fund was founded. For 2010, having submitted the cases to the new CEO Pavel Betsis, Robert focused on support of activity of corporate Council for investments and programs of Cisco in Russia and acted as the adviser of Almaz — Capital/Cisco Fund I venture fund.


R. Eydzhi took active part in work of Board of Directors of the American chamber of commerce, especially, in the areas connected with support of the American IT companies entering the Russian market. Robert was twice elected the board member of chamber where he worked from 1998 to 2002 and also was a part of its executive committee from 1992 to 2002. In 2002 it was included in the "Hundred Best Management Russian IT Companies" list, and in 2004 became the winner of the national award "Darin" for a contribution to the international development and integration. In 2005 Robert was entitled the academician of the International academy of communication. In 2007 R. Eydzhi received the letter of acknowledgement of the prime minister of the Republic of Tatarstan for the contribution Cisco to creation of the computer networks allowing individuals to the companies and the industries to increase labor productivity, to improve quality of the provided services, to strengthen competitiveness.
