Career

2001 - 2005 - the first deputy head of Department of the Government of Moscow of physical culture and sport.

2005 - 2007 - the First Deputy Chairman of the Committee of physical culture and sport of Moscow.

2007 - 2010 - the First Deputy Head of Department of physical culture and sport of Moscow[4].

2010 - 2012 - the Deputy Minister of Sport, tourism and youth policy of the Russian Federation on preparation for the Olympic Games in Sochi.

Since June 13, 2012 - the Deputy Minister of Sport of the Russian Federation, supervises development of winter sports and preparation for the Olympic Games in Sochi[5].

On October 20, 2016 by the order of the prime minister it is relieved of the post the deputy minister sport RUSSIAN FEDERATION.

On December 5, 2017 the International Olympic Committee (IOC) for life discharged Nagorny of any participation in the Olympic Games.

From 2017 to May, 2018 the member of the Supervisory board of Federal autonomous institution of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation "Central Red Army Team".

In 2018 it is appointed the chairman of the board of RFSO Lokomotiv, the adviser on a voluntary basis to the CEO of JSC "Russian Railways" Oleg Belozyorov.

On March 5, 2019 it is elected the board member of FC Lokomotiv[6].
