Biography

Andrey Sergeyevich Nikitin was born on November 26, 1979 in Moscow, but practically since the birth and to 16 years lived in the city of Miass of Chelyabinsk region.

In 1996 entered the State University of Management (SUM) which ended in 2001. Then came to a postgraduate study on department "theory of the organization and management". In 2006 defended the master's thesis on economy on the subject "Strategy of Organizational Changes as Instrument of Effective Management (Teoretikometodichesky Aspect)" and received degree of Candidate of Economic Sciences.

In 2007 graduated from the Stockholm school of economy at the rate of advanced training of MBA.

From 2002 to 2004 worked as the development director in IK Neftegazinvest.

In 2004‑2007 years was the CEO of STEKLONIT Trading House LLC.

In 2002 the Board of Directors of the STEKLONIT plant in Ufa looked for opportunities for development, and I was invited to a position of the CEO of Trading House STEKLONIT LLC who consisted at that time of one person, i.e. of me. We gathered a good team, and we managed to provide high rates of development. During this time we grew up by 13 times! When there was the second Tverstekloplastik plant, appointment me as the CEO of UK "RUSKOMPOZIT" became natural. I am proud that for this period the STEKLONIT company gained the lead on production of composite materials, fiber glasses, geosynthetics, and we began absolutely with small production.

From 2007 to 2009 ‑ the CEO of STEKLONIT Management LLC.

Since 2009 Andrey Nikitin holds a post of the CEO of RUSKOMPOZIT Management Company LLC.

The member of federal cross-industry council, the Chairman of the Committee on a youth entrepreneurship of Delovaya Rossiya LLC.

Quality of Roads of Russia coordinator of the project of Delovaya Rossiya LLC.

Member of the public commission of Federal Road Agency (Rosavtodor).

Since 2007 is the associate professor of the theory of the organization and management of GUU.

Published six scientific works. Participates in scientific conferences, "round tables", seminars on current problems of management.

On July 27, 2011 Andrey Nikitin is elected the CEO of the Agency of Strategic Initiatives (ASI).

2017: Governor of the Novgorod region

On February 13, 2017 the decree of the Russian President it is appointed the acting as the governor of the Novgorod region.

Based on elections on September 10, 2017 it is elected the head of the region.

On October 14, 2017 entered a position of the Governor of the Novgorod region.

Awards

It is awarded with the medal "For Valorous Work" from the Government of Moscow, has gratitude of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.

Hobby

I devote free time to travel. I love the countries with rich history which very well I know and I love. But the brightest impressions leave places where the wild nature in its almost primitive beauty - Africa, Australia and ours Kamchatka, Ural, the North of Russia, the Far East is provided.

Family

Married, no children.
