Was born on November 29, 1932 in Moscow, Russia.

1956 - graduated from the Moscow institute of steel and alloys majoring in "Metallurgical engineer".

1965 - defended the master's thesis.

1975 - defended the doctoral dissertation.

Career

  • worked as 1956-1975 at the Verkhnyaya Salda metalworking plant (VSMPO): master, senior engineer, deputy head of the department for production of titanic ingots, deputy chief metallurgist for titanic production.

1957 - with direct participation of Vladislav Tetyukhin the first titanic ingot was received.

1976 - the chief of the sector of laboratory of All-Russian Research Institute of Aviation Materials (NTK NPO VIAM) of Moscow.

1980 - the chief of research department of NTK NPO VIAM of Moscow. Was responsible for reliability of titanium alloys in aircraft, rocket production and the space equipment.

1992 - the CEO of JSC VSMPO (Verkhnyaya Salda).

1998 - together with the businessman Vyacheslav Bresht integrated JSC VSMPO and the Berezniki Titanium-magnesium works, having created JSC VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation.

1999 - March, 2009 - the president of JSC VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation.

Scientific activity

Vladislav Tetyukhin made a big contribution to studying and creation of technology of vacuum and arc remelting with a consumable electrode in the environment of inert gases.

It is known as the world expert of the titanic industry and also is known for own developments in the field of vacuum metallurgy and technology of processing of semi-finished products from titanium alloys.

The author more than 100 research and technical publications in Russia and abroad, the author of 131 inventions.

Under its scientific management a number of new technologies, for example, technology of threefold remelting for especially responsible products was mastered and implemented: disks, shaft, blades of turbines for passenger and transport airplanes. Several new alloys exceeding on durability and thermal stability all domestic alloys for blades of the fan and SCD low-pressure compressors are created; high-alloy titanium alloys with high corrosion resistance in aggressive environments and some other important works are developed and investigated.

Vladislav Tetyukhin developed manufacturing techniques of large-size titanic ingots; deformation repartition of products with the regulated structure, a technology production process of disks and blades of turbine jets of the increased reliability. Researched melting processes, the nature of liquidating frequency and defects in ingots and products from titanium alloys, determination of measures for their elimination and studying of communication of operational properties of products with their structure and structure; optimization of structures and structures of titanium alloys, etc. Made a contribution to mastering and serial production of semi-finished products from Vt6ch alloy.
