On May 18, 2011 the SAP CIS company announced Ilya Yuryev's appointment the director of representative office of SAP CIS in Republic of Belarus. On this position he develops and implements the development strategy of SAP in the region, including development of sales, a partner ecosystem and also strengthens customer relations.

Ilya has experience in the field of IT more than 10 years, four of which it works in SAP CIS company. Before receiving new appointment Ilya Yuryev headed Department of strategic projects SAP CIS, carrying out tasks of internal transformation of business, besides supervised the relations with several key clients of SAP CIS. Also it has extensive examination in the field of industry solutions of SAP and has experience of business development in several industry segments. Before arrival to SAP CIS Ilya headed IT department of large regional automobile holding where he successfully implemented the large-scale project of automation and implementation of the industry ERP solution.

The market of Belarus is strategically important for the company. The first project of SAP with one of leaders of the Belarusian industry by the BSW (Belarusian Steel Works) company was implemented here in the 90th years and became one of the first in the territory of the CIS countries. Also here a large number of resources of developers and SAP consultants - the staff of system integrators is concentrated. The Belarusian resources actively are attracted for work in projects of SAP worldwide. In terms of revenue of SAP from sales of the software Belarus enters in the CIS countries Top-3 based on 2010.

Key clients of SAP in Belarus are Beltransgaz, Belenergo, BelZhD, Belarusbank, Belarusneft, the Mozyrsky Refinery, BMZ, Velcom, Atlant-M, the BelAZ, Customs committee and other organizations which are the country basis of the economy. Also in Belarus the partner network – in the country of 5 actively working partners of SAP is developed.

As of September, 2013 - Ilya Yuryev is a deputy CEO, the director of division of work with partners, medium and small business, SAP CIS.

Since April 1, 2017 Ilya Yuryev who was earlier engaged in development of the direction in work with medium and small business became the director of work with the CIS countries.
