2019: Agreement on construction of DPC

On December 13, 2019 PJSC MTS soobshchiolo that together with Agentstvov of the Far East signed the agreement on cooperation in the field of construction of the modular Data Processing Center (DPC) in Primorsky Krai on the investment attraction and support of export (ANO API). The data center will allow to expand a portfolio of digital services for the Far East business and to increase capacities for rendering cloud services based on the #CloudMTS platform.

The agreement was signed by the CEO of ANO API Leonid Petukhov and the director of MTS in Primorsky Krai Evgenia Sysoyeva.

ANO API will render assistance on selection of the optimal land plot for placement of the construction built by MTS.

Investment volume of MTS into construction of a modular Data processing center for 2 years will be about 1.5 billion rubles of DPC will consist of 4 modules and will contain not less than 500 standard server racks. It is going to complete the construction in 2021.

The modular DPC will become the second in the territory of Primorsky Krai. The relevance of its construction is dictated by requirements and requests of the Far East business. For example, in a year the volume of the stored data in a cloud#CloudMTS increased three times. High growth rates of demand for services of data centers remain thanks to the annual growth of volume of the stored and processed data which all large companies face. The public sector is also concentrated on digitalization of services that requires additional IT capacities. Therefore construction of this DPC will allow to expand opportunities and to increase the volume of available services for corporate clients in such areas as colocation, storage and data processing in a cloud, system integration and also will give more opportunities to business for creation of disaster-proof configurations, noted the director of MTS in Primorsky Krai Evgenia Sysoyeva
