Stages of development of the 1C Enterprise platform

1C: Enterprise 8.4 - version 8.4 (8.4.1) of the platform of a system of the programs "1C: Enterprise".

On December 30, 2015 1C Company announced release of fact-finding version 8.4 (8.4.1) of the platform of a system of the programs "1C: Enterprise".

Version 8.4.1 is developed on the basis of version 8.3.5 of the 1C:Enterprise 8 platform, includes its complete functionality.

Difference of version 8.4 from the previous versions of the 1C:Enterprise 8 platform - architecture of a server cluster, which main features:

• deployment option:
• more flexible administration of a system;
• it is adapted to use in virtual environments;
• independent setup of nodes of a cluster;
• increase in scalability of separate services of a cluster;
• the Web server is integrated into cluster infrastructure;
• flexible balancing of loading.

Along with use of a new server cluster in version 8.4.1 the possibility of deployment of the server cluster corresponding to version 8.3.5 is saved.

When using a server cluster there is no opportunity for work of the existing administrative tools, for the rest the functionality is maintained in full.

The version of the platform is not complete development. In particular, optimization of a program code continues.

Version 8.4.1 is intended, first of all, for acquaintance of users and partners of 1C Company with the new client-server architecture.

It is not recommended to use this version for the solution of real problems of automation.

When using the fact-finding version it is necessary to consider that in the subsequent versions the functionality and structure of components of a system can be changed.

Components of a new server cluster are delivered only with the Russian and English interfaces. In the rest of version 8.4.1 of the platform a set of interfaces corresponding to version 8.3.5 is supported.
