2020: Start of "personal movie theater"

At the beginning of July, 2020 the headset with the Cinera Edge mini-screen went on sale. This portable "personal movie theater" is equipped with the display with the resolution of 5K and technology of high-quality audiosounding Dolby Surround Sound.

Cinera Edge is delivered with pair of OLED displays of 0.83 inches in size (21 mm). However each of them has resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels that in total forms almost this 5K display with a horizontal viewing field of 66 degrees. According to Cinera, use of the new headset is equivalent to viewing the screen of 1200 inches in size (30.5 m) from distance of 20 m.

In the whole Cinera Edge has the sizes of 197 x 207 x 103 mm and 490 g weigh. Developers claim that they displaced weight from a front on sidewalls to facilitate long-term use. Besides, employment duration limits the battery capacity which is 5200 mAh and is expected approximately three hours.

Cinera Edge works under operating system Android management 7 and can start stream applications, such as Netflix YouTube HBO Max, Disney +, Hulu and Twitch. Besides, the headset is supplied with the slot for cards of MicroSD with which it is possible to load video files. The Pro model also includes HDMI port therefore it can be connected to any Blu-Ray player, the computer, the game console or other source. This model is also equipped with a surround sound of Dolby Digital with four loudspeakers in each ear and bigger capacity - 32 GB in comparison with 16 GB at the previous model.

The headset is also supplied with some other functions. On outer side there is a touchpad for management of the menu and the built-in support 3D - content, (which is possible as each eye uses the independent screen). Depending on requirements it is possible to configure distance between screens and also focusing for short-sighted and far-sighted users.^[1]
