The Kaskad-Potok system is own, completely domestic development of Technoserv in the field of biometric identification of the personality according to the image of the person (work is conducted by the company since 2009, investments exceed 100 million rubles) and is intended for identification of the personality according to the image of the person in real time on the video flow received from surveillance cameras. Among the opportunities of "Kaskad-Potok" which were especially demanded by law enforcement agencies - application of different scenarios of biometric identification of the personality (the white list of the employees having admission to the territory or to the building, or the black list searched), a possibility of multicircuit identification with several boundaries of control and refining, maintenance of the person with an output and forecasting of a trajectory of the movement (biometric tracking), the distributed biometric analytics (comparison of data on the person in different zones of tracking), setup of situational reaction, etc. At significantly smaller implementation cost of the Kaskad-Potok system on probabilistic and time indicators does not concede to the western analogs: speed of identification is more than 400 thousand comparisons per second on 1 core (more than 1.6 million comparisons on one processor), the probability of positive identification on the sporting venue of 96.3%, and for transport 92.2%, at the same time the probability of false operation of 0.1 and 0.6% respectively.

According to developers, the Kaskad-Potok system is intended for identification of the personality in real time according to the video data received from different sources, including from analog or digital cameras of observation, multimedia of files and video servers and also for comparison of images of the person to databases of operational accounting and formation of signals of reaction based on identification.

Video surveillance systems transfer information to the situational centers where behind monitors it is browsed by operators. With growth of number of cameras information volume increases and consequently, the probability to miss threat increases. For this reason the role of automated systems of assessment of the situation increased in system work of the situational centers. The Cascade — the Flow system allows in the online mode among people to distinguish the person who is wanted. The program finds persons in a video flow and compares to the images which are in bases of law enforcement agencies. On system development about 100 million rubles and more than three years of work were required, but now thanks to difficult algorithms sweep rate and identifications in base in 50 thousand photos makes 0.6 with from the moment of primary analysis of the image, and recognition probability — from 70 to 90%.[1]

Security agencies generally are interested in a system, there are also business companies which purchase one of light versions of the Cascade program for the analysis of pass of people through a checkpoint. They consider that the magnetic card can be transferred to other employee and to pass on it, and here the person does not.

Interest in technology, naturally, is, in many respects it is dictated by problems of the state. So, after terrorist attacks in the Moscow subway last year the comprehensive state program "Security of the Population on Transport" was adopted. It is expected 2010 — 2014 and provides financing within 46.7 billion rubles. Last year 7.8 billion rubles were selected for its implementation.

According to Technoserv, system development was initially conducted with understanding of the flowing and imminent needs for biometric technologies in the field of security. Working practically with all security agencies, Technoserv participates in a number of the state projects aimed at security on transport. So, specialists of the company implemented a control system and video surveillances on the rolling stock of the subway, executed projects of security systems for a number of border zones and objects of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation, created an end-to-end system of security on perimeter more than 10 km of Severonikel plant in the Polar region. Besides, Technoserv since 2007 actively participates in the project of the state system of production, registration and control of passport and visa documents of new generation (biopassports).
